Krieger

This is a 2D game quite similar to Metal Slug but made by just 1 person. You'll find multiple enemies that you have to kill. They will shoot you in order to kill you. Every level has a final boss at the end. The game consists of an intro section, a tutorial and 3 different levels. You can set the difficulty as you want (easy, medium, hard).
